What an incredible first day at the Eastern Canadian Fisheries Expo! It was an exciting day filled with meaningful conversations, new connections, and a very special moment for our team. The energy in the room was fantastic as industry professionals gathered to share ideas, learn from one another, and celebrate everything that makes the fisheries sector so vital to our economy and communities.

As always, one of the highlights of attending this event is the opportunity to connect with people from all corners of the industry—whether that’s fellow business owners, suppliers, or individuals who are just as passionate about the future of fisheries as we are. It’s inspiring to see so many like-minded people working toward the same goal of supporting sustainable practices, innovation, and growth in this critical industry.

But today wasn’t just any day—it was a day we’ll remember for a long time. We are absolutely thrilled to share that our founder, Philip Nickerson, was inducted into the Hall of Fame this afternoon. This recognition is a true testament to his years of dedication and hard work, and to his unwavering commitment to advancing the fisheries sector. Philip’s vision and leadership have been pivotal to our company’s success, and we couldn’t be more proud to see him honored in such a meaningful way.
